More About Me

A full-time realtor based in his hometown of Austin, Edward Farmer brings decades of experience navigating both extreme seller and extreme buyer markets. While staying current with modern technology, he takes an old-school, relationship-driven approach-meeting people where they are and keeping the home at the forefront of every transaction. His clients' needs are his priority, and he takes pride in being the "straw that stirs the drink," ensuring every step of the process flows smoothly.

With a deep well of experience and a high volume of successful transactions, Edward treats each client's purchase or sale as if it were his own. His exacting standards stem from a simple philosophy: if he were his own client, he'd likely be his toughest one. His approach is rooted in full-service representation rather than a cafeteria-style approach, recognizing that real estate is about more than just isolated tasks-it's about bringing everything together seamlessly from start to finish because each step matters.

Edward continuously refines his listening skills and makes it a priority to study the market, allowing him to adapt to his clients' specific needs in real time. He leverages the power of both nationwide Realtors (thank you Brian Buffini & Company) & that of his Broker Coldwell Banker Realty, a global network of over 100,000 agents, along with his deep Austin roots and strong industry relationships. Understanding that reputation matters in real estate, he has worked hard to maintain a respected name among his peers.

Beyond his professional experience, Edward brings a personal understanding of homeownership, investment properties, and long-term property management and experienced knowledge with homes and properties involved in Probate. As a third-generation Austinite and seventh-generation Texan (coining the phrase in 90's - Native Austinite, DBA Travis County), he has seen firsthand what it takes to manage land and family real estate for over 100 years co-managing a family property. With more than 1,200 hours of continuing education and industry designations, he is committed to providing knowledgeable, high-level service while respecting his clients' privacy and the significance of their homeownership journey.
